2 countries, 4 small towns, 5 cities & 12 days Part VII - Cordoba & Barcelona

Cordoba is possibly the one city we did not do it much justice given that we are here only for half a day with the sole purpose of visiting the Mezquita.

Mezquita

Mezquita is both a mosque and a cathedral and it is a very interesting sight. Inside the mosque you can see various catholic artifacts within a very Islamic setting. This mosque left a much deeper impression than the Alhambra in Granada. The town itself is pretty and laid back and there is much to explore in the old town.

Special mention: Leave Luggage Services

If you are in Cordoba on a day trip and needs to look for a place to store your luggage, instead of going to the bus station lockers (which is dimly lit and has no one looking after the section), I strongly recommend this store along Avenida de America 27.  The person running the shop is really friendly and he gave us really great tips on what to do in Cordoba. Thumbs up!

Goldrichie has given a detailed description on how to find this shop on TripAdvisor. The details can be found here: https://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/ShowTopic-g187430-i733-k3540244-o20-Does_the_bus_station_have_lockers-Cordoba_Province_of_Cordoba_Andalucia.html

Barcelona is our last stop of the trip. Unless you are a Gaudi fan, to me, Barcelona is another European city. It is beautiful like any other European city but the only thing that pops would be Gaudi.

Of course, the Gothic Quarter is also another sight to explore.
