Check Inn Taipei (雀客旅馆)

Things we love about Check Inn

Check Inn is located literally just steps from the XIngtian Temple MRT station (exit 3). The hotel is also a short distance away from the Eva airport shuttle to Tao Yuan Airport. This makes moving around Taipei a real ease.

Within the hotel, there's also the nicely decorated Check Inn Cafe, serviing light American breakfast and snacks. It's also a local favorite to chill and have brunch.

Now the rooms. The rooms we had - a classic twiin, I admit is small but not too small to the extent of feeling cramped. Overall, we enjoyed the funky, retro feel of it.

The hotel staff are friendly and have good knowledge. What we really love is while we check in hours before check in time, the staff offered to send our bags to our rooms once they are ready and we didn't have to return at check in time to move our luggaes to the room.

Things we don't like so much

The hotel building is located on the main street so if you got the main street facing room, it can get a bit noisy at night. Luckily, the street tends to settle down at around 10pm or so.
